***Update October 18, 2019***
The teachers have all moved on to teaching out of their homes or other businesses. The studio will not reopen under new owners and a new name. The news is dissappointing to me. I have the instructors contact info you may email me and I will forward your message on your instructor.
Thank you,
Jon Colston

Dear Music Instruction Studio Friends and Family,
A.W. Tozer once wrote that “man appears for a little while to laugh and weep, to work and play, and then to go to make room for those who shall follow him in the never-ending cycle.” I have had the privilege of working and playing, laughing and sometimes weeping with many of you at Music Instruction Studio for 15 amazing years. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, after much consideration and prayer, I know it is time for me to close this chapter and begin a new one. At the end of this month, September 30th, 2019, Music Instruction Studio will close its doors as I go on to pursue other professional opportunities in music.
Although this sounds like sad and disappointing news, it is anything but that. It is a time for exciting and new possibilities. Back to Tozer’s quote, “making room for those who shall follow have him in the never-ending cycle” is exactly what is occurring. Music Instruction Studio is closing but the beat goes on! There are plans heavily in the works for continued music and voice lessons under a new owner and new business name. Even more good news, almost all of our outstanding instructors from Music Instruction Studio will be a part of the new business. Many of you purchased web specials, and we are discussing with the new owners how they can be honored. The transition should be smooth and happen relatively fast. More details will be communicated to you soon directly from the new owners.
My family and I want to personally thank you for the opportunity to share the joy of music with you for all these years. It has truly been a blessing and an honor to serve you. We thank you for your business and for entrusting us with sharing the transcending gift of music that brings us all together.
Keep singing, keep strumming, keep playing!
Blessings,
Jon Colston
